this year started off with my life feeling more aimless than ever. i am confused about my direction in life -- what i want to do and how i want to build my life.

i know new year resolutions are bullshit -- but hear me out, this is my first time trying this and i really do hope this works out well.

1. learn and practice mindful meditation. i plan to meditate every night, before going to bed.

2. exercise more, every day. i've been doing skipping and spine-correcting exercises every other day -- i hope i can stay committed. 

3. learn languages -- starting off by refining my French (via Duolingo; a daily exercise should work..)

4. learn new things -- i started off this year by listening to a philosophy podcast on Spotify regularly; let's make the habit work!

5. care and experiment with my hair. i colored my hair golden brown last week -- i've been meaning to since the past two years, but never had the balls to do and get away with it. also, i had just noticed that i've been treating my hair wrong my whole life. i'd like to bring out my natural curls again. 


i hope by having these targets and routines and new habits, they will bring out a color and a purpose in my life. i really hope so.
